Bio
Research: Conducts research on various thematic areas of social welfare and social protection including workload management, case management and alternative care, informal sector as well as child and family welfare.
Trainer: Engages in training social work students in social welfare, social policy/social protection analysis and research.
Partnerships and Technical Support: Collaborates with Ministry of Community Development and Social Services through participation in various social welfare activities including Social Assistance and building capacity for staff; Ministry of Labour and Social Security; engage with the ILO and European Union Social Protection Systems and Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare as well as NAPSA on extension of social security to informal economy workers.
Recently (2023) led the revision of the National Strategy for Extension of social security to informal economy, sitting under Ministry of Labour and Social Security and supported by the ILO
