John specializes in environmental philosophy, environmental decision-
making and conflict analysis. Other research interests include issues in development ethics
and philosophy of management as well as African perspectives in these areas.
He has an MA in Philosophy and Applied Ethics from The University of Zambia and a PhD
in Philosophy from Rhodes University in South Africa obtain with the assistance of a Mellon
Scholarship with partial funding from the Canon Collins Trust.
