Patrick Sakala is a Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) researcher, analyst, and trainer with over 20 years of experience. Mr. Sakala understands that gender plays a critical role in the success or failure of development interventions, underscoring the importance of gender-inclusive, disability-sensitive, and transformative approaches to achieve equitable and sustainable development.
His work involves collaborations with international organizations like the World Bank Group, GIZ, Climate Compatible Growth (CCG) UK, IUCN, and Global Water Partnership-South Africa, as well as local NGOs. His engagement with students, policymakers, implementation teams, and beneficiaries, has contributed to research-based gender and HIV&AIDS mainstreaming interventions across sectors in Zambia and beyond.
