Biography
Brian Mwiinga is a Lecturer in the Department of Development Studies at the University of Zambia and a PhD Candidate in Development Studies. His doctoral research examines the socio-economic impacts of water scarcity on rural women's livelihoods. He holds an MSc in Agriculture and Rural Development from China Agricultural University.

His research interests include agricultural extension systems, agricultural value chains, community beneficiation from mineral resource extraction, social protection, and social accountability. He has previously lectured and conducted research at the University of Lusaka and the National Institute of Public Administration and has extensive experience in civil society and development practice, having worked with the Centre for Trade Policy and Development, Civil Society for Poverty Reduction, and the Joint Country Programme of Norwegian Church Aid and DanChurchAid.
