Holder of a M. A. and B.A. Degrees in Political Science from the University of Zambia. Holder of a Certificate in National Development from Perking University, China. Holder of a Certificate in Being a Leader and the Effective Exercise of Leadership from African Leadership Transformation (ALT) Foundation and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Over 9 years working for the University of Zambia as a lecturer and researcher in International Relations and Political Science. Some publications and research done include: 2024, a book chapter titled Reflections on China’s International Political and Economic Relations in a book titled Narratives of Success in the 60 Years Of China-Zambia Diplomatic Ties (1964-2024) published by the University of Zambia and Confucius Institute, 2023: Co-authored a journal article titled New Public Governance and Undermining of the Public Interests in Zambia published by African Journal of Sociological and Psychological Studies, 2024: Conducted a midterm evaluation for USAID Local Impact Project under Cloudburst as a Subject Matter expert, and 2021 research assistant for Women Participation in Peace Keeping in Zambia survey by SACCORD and DCAF. - 2014 to 2015: Was a research team leader for the 2014 National Corruption Diagnostic Survey which was conducted by the Department of Government and Management Studies on behalf of the Anti – Corruption Commission and the Ministry of Justice.
- 2013 to date: I am a Country Coordinator for Varieties of Democracy (V-Dem) Project conducted by the Department of Political Science at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden with the University of Zambia, Department of Government and Management Studies.
- 2011: Worked as a research assistant in a research titled; The State of Democracy at the Local Level conducted by Department of Government and Management Studies, The forum for Democratic Process and International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (IDEA).
